FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • General Information

    • Please do not wear lotions or oils on your skin the day before class

    • Wear layers

    • Bring a water bottle

  • What Should I Wear?

For your level 1 classes, please wear shorts that come above the knee and a tank top. As lessons progress and the moves get more involved you will need to bare a little skin. We rely on exposed skin to grip the pole, so eventually you will be required to wear tight short-shorts and a midriff-baring top.

If you would like to wear heels to class that's fine but we recommend you master all tricks barefoot before kicking it up a notch

  • What Does A Pole Fitness Class Consist Of?

We begin every class with a dynamic warmup to get our bodies ready to move. We then work on individual pole moves and combos, ending class with strength training, free time, and a light stretch and cool-down

  • I'm Brand New, Where Do I start?

All students brand new to the art of pole should start in level 1

  • How long should I take level 1?

We recommend students take a minimum of 6 level 1 classes. Your instructor will let you know when you're ready to progress to level 2

  • Do I Have To Be In Shape To Sign Up For A Pole Class?

Absolutely not. Our level 1 classes are designed for the everyday individual and are a great way to begin your fitness journey and get in shape as you progress. There are no strength or fitness requirements to join level 1 classes.

  • Where Do I Park?

We have a small gravel lot directly across the street from the studio that you may park in (please do not park in the two spaces furthest from the road). If that is full we suggest parking at a neighboring business.

  • What Should I Bring With Me?

For level 1, bring appropriate attire and a water bottle.

For all other classes, we also recommend bringing socks, knee pads, grip aid and heels.

  • Do You Allow Walk Ins?

No. All students must pre-register online

  • Are Private Lessons and Option?

Yes! Private lessons are appropriate for students who are preparing to compete or perform, have disabilities, or have specific goals in mind.

If you are not working on those kinds of things we recommend taking a group class.

If you would like to schedule a private lesson please reach out to the studio directly.
